Sheryn Williams (YTAA, MHA)
Sheryn has been a student of yoga since 1997 when she discovered its wonderful benefits as an alternative to exercising in a gym environment.
At first Sheryn practiced yoga as another way to get a "workout" and was quite unprepared for the magical journey that unfolded as she continued to practice.
Sheryn worked as a school administrator for many years. Yoga helped her to manage her stress and provided the tools she needed to improve her physical and mental health and wellbeing as well as discover and follow her bliss!
Sheryn started her yoga journey studying Iyengar style yoga with a variety of local teachers. Her regular practice led her to study the Level 1 and Level 2 Teacher Training course at My Health Yoga in 2007.
In order to deepen her knowledge, Sheryn has practiced a variety of styles including Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Yin Yoga.
Sheryn passionately believes that yoga can be able to be accessed by anybody and offers classes geared to a variety of fitness levels and experience, focusing on flow and alignment. She also believes that yoga can provide simple, yet effective tools to help us live a balanced, well life.
Sheryn is a member of the Yoga Australia and My Health Association (MHA).
Sheryn is also a qualified Reiki practioner. Individual Reiki sessions are available on request.
